The biggest event pretty much (well, the one with the most pictures anyway) was our TENC trip to London. It was the trip of the lifetime with the average touristy stuff and lots of shopping :) I went on the London Eye for the first time and actually loved it. As a photographer, the London Eye provides soooo many opportunites to take a load of photos, although on the day we went it was pretty misty, so some of the photos aren't absolutely fab but I don't care, it was a great experience and one I would love to do again. It amazed me how many people you could actually fit in the little compartments - loads! The perverts in the next compartment were quite funny though, taking pics of us for no particular reason - never realised we were that gorgeous!
After getting lost multiple times on the confusing underground, we ended back at our hotel on Russell Square with tired eyes and achy feet, but nevertheless, we still had fun (as you can tell by mine and Kerry's gorgeous faces!) This place was our room for a night as we spent our evening trying to fit Chantelle's GHD's into the plugs that had an unreasonably small gap between themselves and the dressing tables - ah well.
Next was the rather cool Bowling on Piccadilly Circus - despite walking around central London on our own in the dark and being approached by a tramp for food in kfc it was all great fun, and I didn't come last, which was definitely a first! I was nearly an evil person and nearly resorted to violence with a nasty little child I'd never met before who claimed that the shared bowling balls provided by the company for everyone were "her balls." Yeah. Right. Apart from that it was fab, I got stronger as the evening went on and I think I was the only person to get a strike - get in!!!
After a lush night of eating Millie's Cookies and Ben & Jerry's with my lovely ladies, we set of for Madame Tussauds the next morning, another first for moi. I was amazed at quite how realistic everything looked and how the people were so convincing - Charles and Camilla actually looked real! I had loads of photos taken with everyone from my idol, Christina Aguilera to me stroking Hitler's moustache - I don't care what you say, it had to be done! Also I enjoyed hugging Johnny Depp rather more than a normal person should enjoy embracing a waxwork, but being as it's highly unlikely I'll be able to embrace him in real life, I guess the waxwork will have to do... he wasn't a pirate anyway. Turning him into Cptn. Jack Sparrow would've quadrupled his fittie status for me ;D
After that, there was just loads of shopping and cookie eating, which suited us fine... and that was our amazing weekend! <3
